Vol-2023, Issue 1

This week it's good to be: Raph got the win and is near the top of the Top division.  Also drafted two kickers. 

This week it sucks to be: Eric had the second highest score of the week only to have the draft wizard blow up on him. 

(Dis)honorable mention: Brandon benched David Montgomery (33.1 pts) for Aaron Jones (1.9 pts), which gave Tom the win and we all had to listen to him talk shit about being disinvited from the draft party.  

(Dis)honorable mention Dweb benched Terry McLaurin (18.6 pts) and DJ Moore (23.1 pts) for Jaylen Waddle (6.6 pts) and Jerry Jeudy (6.7 pts).  My draft wizard accuracy is at 86% and I am 0-4.

Fantasy Football views / opinion

Tim stashed Jonathan Taylor in the 6th round.  Saquon Barkley is coming back.  Josh Allen may be the best QB in fantasy.  He plays the bottom 3 teams in the league the next 3 weeks.  What a good birthday present. 

Gabe spent a 9th round pick on the Bills D/ST and scored 7, 11, 31, and 7 pts thru 4 weeks.  His team is 4-0 and in the driver's seat to the #1 overall seed in the league.  McCaffrey scored 45.2 pts.  Front Page Newz has a chance to make fantasy football life very difficult this week vs Fond O' Naps.  

Geoff and Alex are tied for the worse defense award with -6 from the Miami D/ST and -6 from the Pittsburgh D/ST.  Marco and Brandon are tied second with -2 from the Dallas D/ST and New York Giants D/ST.

Andreas never told us why he traded Tyreek Hill.  He got 22.5 pts from Mark Andrews (one of the players he received in the Hill trade) this week and had the leagues high score. 

Tom is a Stefon Diggs catch or Daniel Jones passing touchdown away from joining Gabe in the undefeated ranks.  So far he has auto drafted and not made any changes to his lineup.  

Alex got 4.0 pts from Raheem Mostert after getting 41.7 pts from him last week.  The SF Sheldors are 2-2 and in the mix for the playoffs.

Ed would have beaten Raph if he would have kept Cole Kmet in his lineup.  Easy for me to say as Kmet had only 3.2 pts in week 3 and then exploded for 24.1 pts in week 4.
