Annual reminder for all, and FYI for those joining us... the PumpSpray is meant to be fun for everyone. You are going to get shit talked at some point, but if you find it's too much and not fun for you, reach out to me on the side and let me know.
Despite adding two teams, week 1 picked up right where last season left off: nobody scored a nonuple-double (although DWeb was two players away!), we had a Canadian Royal Rumble (congrats to Marco, the current one true Canadian), and I once again mis-pumped by playing well against one of the only teams who could beat me. However, the week was not without its twists: the newbz unexpectedly jumped right into the trash talking to make their mark on the chat, I can finally make fun of Raph for drafting Dak, and the one trade we saw didn't seem lopsided one way or the other. Speaking of trades...

TIM may be in the "I pay more attention to real life than fantasy football" category, but not to THAT degree, ALEX. Props for trying though
Move of the week:
TOM – This week, there weren’t many moves; two pick-ups, and one trade. TOM acquired Julio Jones, and went on to play him for 10.1 points in the flex. It’s looking like Julio could be a regular contributor, so unless the 49ers D turns out to be like the Patriots that one year recently, looking like TOM wins that trade

MARCO – pulling off a pre-season trade. In a league where we sometimes see one trade a year, it’s nice to see you making your nitemovez early

Also TOM – You have a whole empty bench spot, bro…. In a year where we reduced the bench spaces. NOT filling it is a bad move
PUMP of the Week:
DWeb – Mahones96 for 34.9. JJ also scored 34.9 for me, but it only pumps if you win, and per the league guidelines, when one pumps, the other gets pumped. We all know who pumped and got pumped this week (though I'm sure you'll remind us regularly in the chat)
Honorable Mention:
BRANDON - Miami D for 19, which is especially sweet because if they didn't pump, you likely lose that game

ALEX – Cam Akers. It’s gotta suck when your 3rd round pick decides to swing by Top Pot on the way to the game
(That’s a Seattle reference. See, there’s a donut shop up here called Top Pot Donuts. Some of their donuts are round, not unlike a zero, which is what Cam Akers scored.)

This week it’s good to be:
DWeb – There’s no denying the highest score of the week. Way to back up your pre-season spew with nearly every starter scoring double digits. As a Disciple of the Draft Wizard, you are quickly learning, and well on your way to becoming your own Wizard of the Draft
Honorable Mention
BRANDON – I maintain the Schedule Warlock is more powerful than the Draft Wizard… way to be lucky enough to play against one of the only two teams you could’ve beaten this week
ANDREAS – Must be nice to watch a robot make a winning team for you
This week it sucks to be:
ERIC – JJ more than made up for Keenan Allen getting hurt, and I still couldn’t pull it out. Which is what my dad should’ve done. Even worse, DWeb is now fueled for the next week... I apologize for the extra chat notifications you all will inevitably get this week due to DWeb’s Bumblebee-ing of me
