VOL. 2021, ISSUE: 11
This isn't related to Nitemoverz at all, but for those of you who don't partake in social media, I want to share a meme I made that I'm particularly proud of:
The other thing I'm thankful for is my oral health. I haven't seen any hot takes about floss all year, so I'm harping on it again. Please start flossing, Nitemoverz! My favorite brand is CocoFloss, and it would make my heart sing to hear that some of you have started to at least think about it, if you don't already. It takes self discipline, which I know is something you could then brag about having at Gold Club, in addition to MARCO's advice:
Anyway, the playoff picture is ever-changing, with TOM and RAPH from the TOPS and BRANDON and DWeb from the BOTTOMS, all sitting at 7-4, with two games to go, and each with a 6-5 team right behind them.
In quite the opposite news, remember when I said this about TIM's team in week 1?
Welllllll about that
After week 1, where he was the top scorer with 144, TIM has gone on a 10 game losing streak, I believe the likes of which Nitemoverz has never before seen, but I'm not checking it because I don't do math for losers
MOVE OF THE WEEK:
DWeb pulled a 15 point swing by peer pressuring TOM into the McLaurin for Pittman trade. Remember, Nitemoverz:
HONORABLE MENTION:
GEOFF - Tua Tagovailoa (17.4) You didn't need it to beat EDWARD, but still a good move, keeping you with an outside shot at the playoffz
DISHONORABLE MENTION:
TOM - Michael Pittman (3.3), and also letting yourself be pressured by DWeb, who is now guaranteed to keep reminding us of this trade for the rest of the seezon
BRANDON - Michael Gallup (6.9) when you could have started your other pick up, Mooney (20.6). Normally this probably wouldn't matter since you still won, but it seems like this year, playoffz could really come down to points-for, and both GEOFF and EDWARD are within about 20 points of you
Pre-Emptive Move of the Week:
MARCO - for using his #1 waiver to bless us with this drama...
I totally thought we were gonna get a "Haha, I made you think I was taking Cam Newton when really I wanted X player" hot take from DWeb, but nay, DWeb actually, in real life, decided to broadcast his waiver decisions, and MARCO swooped
PUMP OF THE WEEK:
GEOFF - NE D/ST (26), which was more than half of all the starting points scored from the Thursday night game (48.2). Interestingly, from the Thursday game, the Special Teams took over. First, the D, and then Nick Folk kicked the 2nd most points of the night for TOM (16), who must've stolen that kicker magic from RAPH when he beat him last week
MASTER PUMP OF THE WEEK:
Sponsored by MasterPump Credit card. There are some things money can't buy For everything else, there's MasterPump *Except for welfare PS5's
RAPH - Jonathan Taylor (51.9) helped you avenge your championship loss to MARCO, who became the new ERIC by having a player pump into the 30s (Justin Jefferson - 33.2) only to lose to someone who had a player pump bigger. That's a MasterPump
THIS WEEK IT'S GOOD TO BE:
BRANDON - from week one being like this:
... to being top of the BOTTOMS, most points-for in your division, and a likely playoff spot. The season isn't over yet, but you are still to be congratulated
HONORABLE MENTION:
The other 7-4 teams: DWeb, RAPH, and TOM
I hate all of you
THIS WEEK IT SUCKS TO BE:
TIM - could've beaten 7 of the 9 other teams in the league, but you ended up playing BRANDON, one of the only two teams who could beat you this week. It's ok, you didn't need your self esteem anyway
DISHONORABLE MENTION:
ERIC - You can't use the "I played a high scoring team" excuse when you score the 2nd lowest points of the week
Charts N shit
